The spotlight is on designer Rei Kawakubo with the opening of her retrospective at The Metropolitan Museum in NYC. She is only the living designer that The Met has actually done an entire exhibition on. That’s a pretty amazing accomplishment. Her latest collection is all about no silhouette…. what if women didn’t have the regular hourglass silhouette? What if women looked like they had tumor growths all over their body??? Or had this silhouette after a one week binge on Ding Dongs?? Well, this collection is for you! Who needs boobs and butts when the boob and butt are sprouting on random parts of your silhouette?
