When I think of Italy, I think of the most quintessential Italian movie, La Dolce Vita, directed by Fellini. Dolce & Gabbana decided to pay a homage to the country they adore and hail from– the unparalleled country of Italy. This nationalistic collection was one of their best. It was wearable, elegant and incredibly flattering for any size woman. Coming off of the ‘synthetic baby’ remarks of last season, Dolce & Gabbana have proved themselves over and over again that they are the masters at dressing a woman for any occasion, no matter what they may say or think. Can’t argue with that….this was quite simply a most gorgeous collection.
