I went snooping around the internet for fashion inspired by the Ritchie-Rich sport of Fencing. I really like fencing, but not because I’m a snob, but because you get to wear the coolest outfit while poking the crap out of your opponent. I kinda like that. Plus, it’s like the modern day sword fight, but without the cheezy King’s Richard’s Faire air about it. Here are what I pulled up and in particular these photos above by Rasmus Mogensen are killer!
The photos below are from the Spring 2010 collection by Khaled el Masri. Totally has a Middle Eastern touch to it. Maybe a falcon on the arm can complete that look. Anywho, I love when fashion collides with non-fashiony stuff! I think I’m gonna find a mesh collander in the kitchen and wear it on my face for a hot minute and jab at the air with a pair of tongs… I’ll be back later….
