Jean Paul Gaultier- Haute Couture- Spring 2012- WineHouse of Couture

Amy Wino really left an impression on Jean-Paul Gaultier because dude’s entire couture collection was dedicated and inspired by her, which I found strange. The beehives, the cat eyeliner, the crackie shakes-the 50s/60s silhouettes were all part of the tribute to Amy Winehouse. The only thing missing were the  ballet flats. I mean, those were pretty much sewed on her feet all the time.  Anyway, I thought the collection had moments of cool and meh. My fave is the last photo of the corset by Mr. Pearl. So beautiful and delicate. RIP Amy Winehouse.
