Jeremy Scott may have had an a-ha moment when he witnessed a pyro – socialite set fire to her closet of countless couture OR there might be a historic back-story that you may read about here.  Basically, some a-hole  monks were burning things of beauty in Italy during The Renaissance.  Like, who does that? Any who, Scott decided to literally ‘burn’ clothes as the models walked down the runway. For me, the collection was a mixed bag. The beginning started pretty FUG, then it moved on to be quite elegant and interesting with the singed ballgowns.  So, yeah, I will be taking a match to some old ballgowns this weekend. Wish me luck!
