New York city is my most favorite city in the world, so it was a delight to go this month, especially during the holiday season! I took a red eye out of Santa Barbara, so I could spend an entire day to shop and site see and what not…. a whole day without mom duties! It was splendid! I started off walking from Battery Park in the wee early morning hours in hopes of getting to tickets to the crown of The Statue of Liberty. However, tickets were sold out until February 2016!  So I walked slowly, zigzagging uptown and made a bunch of stops at the World Trade Center Memorial, Soho, Little Italy,  East Village, West Village, Chelsea, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and finally, 5th Avenue as night fell and Christmas lights turned on.  One of my stops included Patricia Field at The Bowery. As many of you know, Patricia Field is my most favorite store in the whole world. I’ve been shopping there since I was 13 years old. So, the news of Patricia field closing was a sad one to me, so I wanted to make sure I make one last visit before they shutter their doors. I paid my final respects and moved on to stuff my face with delicious macaroons at famed French pastry shop, Laduree. There, I picked up a collectible Sonny Angel christmas ornament and some delightful macaroons! A few hours later, I turned up at 5th Avenue’s Bergdorf Goodman which has the most beautiful shopping windows during this time of year. Loads of dazzling Swarovski crystals were painstakingly placed on all sorts of props and costumes for the displays! It was beyond marvelous! Photos will never do justice to the displays… you must see it in person to be blown away, like I was. Any who, I wanted to share all the beautiful sites of NYC during Christmas! It felt good to be back!  I LOVE NYC!
