Pop Art Dresses

The Rodnik Band by Philip Colbert available at Not Just A Label Shop takes classic art by artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Marcel Duchamp and Salvador Dali and recreates them as a dress. I think my favorite is the Tomato Soup can by Warhol… I mean, durrrrrr, who wouldn’t want to be a delicious can of  Campbell’s soup? If you want something that goes more ‘POP!’ I would go for the urinal dress by Duchamp. If you were a real ‘bidness’ lady, you’d rent that dress for outdoor bar mitzvahs and weddings because who wants to go to a nasty Port-o-Potty when you have a nice dress on? You can let people lavishly pee into the fancy, sequined urinal- although ladies would have to use this contraption (The SHEWEE) to go in one. By the way, the SheWee is on my wishlist. I’m sorry, I’m just blabbing with my fingers and keyboard again… But in all seriousness, if you do wear the urinal dress to a club, I’d stay away from the wall.
