Artist Brian Dettmer uses melted cassette tapes as a medium to construct human and animal skulls. This is pretty awesome mostly because Brian found use for all those useless tapes laying around after the compact disc killed it. Now we need to find uses for all those compact discs that the MP3 killed. Check out Brian’s site for more cool stuff, like book sculptures.
