Three activities where your outfit doesn’t matter

Three activities where your outfit doesn’t matter

There are plenty of activities that we all take part in today where you need to dress smart or at least think a little bit about what you’re going to wear.

For example, when you go on a holiday you have to think about the kinds of places you’ll be visiting – will you be dressing up for dinner every night, do you need to wear modest clothing for visiting churches and other tourist attractions so that you can fit in with the local culture? Similarly, most workplaces have a dress code of sorts, even though you might not have to be suited and booted.

Sometimes, though, it can feel like hard work looking your best all the time. So we’ve thought of three different activities where dressing up certainly doesn’t apply.

Get your ‘eyes down’ online

No matter what you’re wearing it doesn’t matter when you’re playing games such as bingo online at sites such as 32red bingo, 123 bingo and Vic’s Bingo. And this would apply to any online game, of course. You can be in your dressing gown if that’s what you feel like doing. And for many of the games you don’t even have to pay to play – check out the selection of free bingo games from 32redbingo. The free games that most bingo sites offer are a way of rewarding players for their loyalty, and if you’re in the mood to play anyway, you may as well take the opportunity of potentially winning a cash prize for nothing!

Even when you’re playing bingo with other people, they won’t see what you’re wearing as the chat rooms don’t include cameras – yet! You communicate through typed messages on the screen, so your clothing is irrelevant. If you think about it, there are only very few social activities you could you safely enjoy in your PJs.

Go on a hike

When you strike out for a walk in the countryside, what you’re wearing doesn’t matter, unless you’re particularly concerned about what other walkers will make of your outfit. Though style may not be a priority, the important thing about walking gear is that it will keep you warm and dry, no matter what the weather decides to do. It’s best to wear lots of layers so that you can take them on or off as you walk, and be able to regulate your temperature. Fortunately, most of today’s outdoor clothing ranges are pretty fashion-conscious anyway, so even if you’re dressed practically, you’ll still exude style.

Family gatherings

There are plenty of family occasions when you might want to dress up a little – Christmas is a typical example, or a big birthday celebration. But for that regular Sunday lunch get-together, or for an evening when your mum and dad are coming over to spend time with you and the kids, then you can just stay in your casual gear, so that you all feel relaxed. It doesn’t mean that you love them any less, in fact, it shows that you love them more if you can feel comfortable with no make-up and in your T-shirt and sweatpants. You shouldn’t need to put on a special look for those you’re most familiar with!

Most of us enjoy making an effort with our clothes, hair and overall style the majority of the time, but it is nice to be free simply not to bother now and then!
