We had the wonderful opportunity to experience Universal Studios at Hollywood, CA recently. So many new updates since our last trip, including the brand-new, exciting KUNG FU PANDA adventure at the newly refurbished Dreamworks Theater (formerly known as The Shrek theater). An amazing, multi-sensory attraction, The Kung Fu Adventure is a technological achievement where every wall of the theater is a digital screen, which immerses you into the magical world of Master Po. The audience travels by moonlight through a rushing river on Master Po’s boat and goes on an unforgettable adventure through the land of the animal ninjas. It is a must-see for everyone of all ages!
Moving on to a different realm and world, we entered The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Greeted with wand-waving wizards and the famed Hogwarts Express, The World of Harry Potter transported us to Hogwarts with barrels of butterbeer, whimsical shops, and the exhilarating ride through the hallowed halls of Hogwarts called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. In the ride, discover how wizards-in-training spend their days fighting evil dragons and death eaters… so exciting!
If you’re down for some shopping, check out the Hello Kitty store inside the park with exclusive merchandise from some of the most iconic Universal films, like Jaws and E.T., as well as, leather goods by Loungefly. Don’t miss the custom sweet shop with Hello Kitty candy apples and cupcakes! Sweet!
With so many rides and attractions from so many of our favorite movies and shows like Despicable Me, The Walking Dead, The Mummy, Jurassic Park,The Simpsons and many more, it’s hard not to come back over and over again! Add world-class shopping and great restaurants to the mix and you’ve got a great family getaway!
Universal Studios is open 7 days a week until 10pm during the summer. Express Passes are highly recommended to maximize your time at the park.
