Voila Gallery carries an entire collection of strangely cool objects that may or may not creep you out in a dark house somewhere. Those old-timey canopy chairs are pretty awesome, I would love to have one in my home. I have seen the coolest canopy chairs at the BG Restaurant (7th floor) in Bergdorf Goodman’s in NYC. They are a beautiful light blue leather with cream colored wood. However, these bone-y ones are pretty cool too. I think the hand shelf is bit too frightening for me. It’s like Thing and all his relatives decided to invade your house. But imagine, one could hold your coat, another your keys, the other can hold tea. Actually, I wouldn’t mind having that, as long as I could do their nails all fancy like this. That ‘maid’ chair is fairly simple to recreate at home with an apron and old stained chair. Anywho, the world needs more furniture like this.
