What I wore…

Here is what I wore for some interviews I did last month. First up is a vintage 1970’s Castleberry tweed suit I wore for my Johnny Depp interview for his new movie ‘Rango’. It was a long skirt when I bought it and looked totally dowdy. So, I cut it into a mini-skirt and used the excess to make leg warmers. I was inspired by the Chanel Moscow Collection last year and added a Lenin shirt I got from a street vendor in NYC and Russian Doll pin from Giant Robot. I finished the ensemble off with a braided headband from Puppycatmeow. ‘Tressa the Hair Dressa’ matched my hair exactly!

On to the second outfit… I wore this for the interviews for new Farrelly Brothers movie ‘Hall Pass’. It’s a trench coat dress from Obzee. They are a cool Korean designer that used to have a store at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, that store closed 6 years ago and I’ve been since searching for an online store or something! They had the coolest, really good quality stuff and it was reasonably priced. If anybody has any leads as to where I can order their clothes, please let me know! I totally sound like a junkie right now. So sorry.

Anyway, I accessorized with a few Murakami pins I picked up at MOCA a few years back and a pearl necklace on steroids. Those are faux bangs in human hair. So quick and easy!

PS-Excuse the towels and shower in the shots! I should probably invest in a tripod!

  1. What are the shoes you are wearing? Do you think they might be available in Canada?? I love both outfits!
