Finnish artist Ilona Sampovaara has essentially captured Mr. Marmar on canvas doing hood rat stuff! Amazing seeing that she’s never met the naughty ball of fluff! My fave has to be the first painting- Mr. Marmar in a fox stole (obviously, borrowed from my closet) with a hissy face from the time I went to Europe for two weeks. He gets majorly hissed off when I’m gone for more than a day. Poor Marmar! Then there’s that time (see painting number 4) he was at the beach and got sand in his glamourous fur and he got hissed off again. Or is it that his mousey slave ran out of his favorite cocktail, the Milky White Russian? In any case, the art of Ilona is definitely art imitating life- Mr. Marmar’s life! HAHHAHAHAAH!
