This season John Galliano did what he does best, take a classic and deconstruct it into something innovative. The classic- a standard trench coat… done a million ways- each way looking fresh and modern. My favorite is most definitely the trench coat corset in the fifth photo. I have a massive steel-boned corset collection of around 80 custom corsets , so this would be a nice addition. I’m also liking the pleated ‘Issey Miyake’ style trench seventh photo… it reminds me of the corrugated cardboard used for shipping. Anywho, glad to see John Galliano finding his way back into fashion.
