Chainmail Shoes

Ok, riddle me this: Can chainmail actually protect your feet from all the millions of microscopic, nasty ass stuff that are found on the ground? I think not. But, then again, I’m a germaphobe, so anything involving feet and the outside elements are high on my vom list. Anywho, these metal chainmail barefoot shoes are by Gost Barefoots. They are meant for hiking, climbing, camping and whatever those nature-people like to do. I think they look really medieval, like in a gimpy sort of way…
