Ever since John ‘Heil’ Galliano got fired earlier this year, the House of Christian Dior has been merde -ing their pantalons on getting couture right. In my opinion, no one can compete with Galliano’s craftsmanship and ultra-precise cuts, not even the 2 relatively unknown designers it took to complete this collection. What I do love are the bright colors, but the 70’s Bea Arthur caftans and the Jessica McClintock-esque gowns were just not what House of Dior is about- the should let Sears take care of that. I wonder if there’s a possibility that they bring back Galliano if he promises to keep his swastika in check. Hmmmmm? Craving a Dior show that inspires….
