We just kicked off the summer in style with a stunning performance by the international circus troupe called , CIRCUS VARGAS! So many great performances with high-flying acrobats, talented archers (using their feet!), the modern clown, amazing aerialists and daredevils performing death-defying acts that will keep you at the edge of your seat. It was an international affair with performers and costumes from many parts of the world including Mexico, Romania, Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal and Italy, to name a few. It was a ‘Small World’ under the Big top! My favorite performance was the breath-taking contortionist that aimed an arrow with her feet ! This jaw-dropping act was entertaining which displayed her athleticism, as well as her artistic talents. If you’re looking for more of a heart racing sort of experience , the ‘Wheel of Death’ and ‘Globe of Death’, motorcyclists racing inside a small globe in perfect timing, is sure to keep your eyes peeled! Light-hearted comedy and dazzling jugglers round out the show to make a perfect two-hour event that will create memories that will last a lifetime! Take a moment to enjoy the world come together to appreciate the arts and talents that make up Circus Vargas. Shows run in Santa Barbara until June 17 at Earl Warren Showgrounds.
