Coco Loves LA – Oscar’s Beauty Lounge

I had the pleasure of attending the CHANEL beauty lounge “Coco loves LA”  at Chateau Marmont’s intimate bar, aptly named Bar Marmount. The event ran all last weekend in honor of the 2016 Oscar’s. There were refreshing, non-alcoholic drinks flowing, a Photo Booth with a ginormous Chanel Chance perfume bottle, a chance to make a mini- movie as a Chanel rock star (complete with the iconic Chanel chain as the wires coming out of instruments!), and temporary Chanel tattoos! The entire space was transformed into a luxurious, Rock and Roll heaven! There was a live DJ outfitted in a dashing suit pumping smooth electronic music and loads of gorgeous Chanel attendants. The event offered complimentary mini- manicures in the season’s hottest Chanel lacquer and a make up station to try the latest luscious lipsticks. For someone like me who’s a CHANEL fanatic, it was BLISS!!! For the event I wore, a Chanel jacket in hot pink with black trim from the Spring 1995 collection. I paired it with a pair of Mom Jeans ( HA!) , which went well with my vintage Chanel gold belt. To top it all off, I wore a long Chanel necklace with pearls and cosmetic charms and the British flag slim shoulder bag from the Chanel Fall 2008 collection. The only thing that was not Chanel were my British flag shoes from Moschino… and my tampon…. no kidding ! Any who, I will treasure this memory for ever and ever and ever ! Viva CHANEL !!
