If The Emperor’s New Clothes was a real life drama, Comme Des Garcon would have been hired as the costume designer. His men’s spring collection was full of clear jackets, primitive threads depicting barely-there garments, and crowns made out of hair. Was it a poke at the fashion industry, itself? Perhaps, but there’s one thing for sure… even with minimal clothing, Comme Des Garcon masters the art of looking weird AND polished.
PS- All the models’ faces were in permanent resting sad face… hope they got a box of chocolates after that gig.
