These lamps called ‘Embarakiya’, are part of a series by Al-Hamad Design. The terrifying human-sized lamps are dressed in traditional Kuwaiti garb and have speakers built into them. If this doesn’t scare the crap out of you, I don’t know what will. This is every woman’s worst nightmare. To wake up to some Arab dude that’s a lamp and radio. Seriously, if it was a real person standing in my house, I’d be afraid they’d throw a black sheet on me and add me to their harem. AND you have to shake his hand to turn on the lamp. Thank god that’s ALL you have to shake (or flip)! HAHAHAAHAHHAH! Anywho, this does exist.
