Designer Alessandro Michele has no doubt breathed life into the House of Gucci, but has also managed to create a world within a snow globe of a 1970’s disco dolly with a fondness for sequins and ruffles, as well as an array of garish colors. In other words, this is simply a most FABULOUS world that I must live in 24/7. Anywho, I, honestly, can’t tell each season of Gucci apart, but I don’t particularly mind because, if Michele is marching to his own beat, then what do seasons matter then? It’s his own idiosyncratic world, his own style, that transcends seasons … and that, my friend, is revolutionary in itself. On a side note, I so need that Chupacabra jumpsuit STAT!
