Hats by Moody & Farrell

Remember those gorgeous straw hats at the afternoon tea party before Alice’s adventures in the Tim Burton movie, ‘Alice in Wonderland’? The hat company known as  Moody & Farrell designed those spectacular hats! Here are some of the hats they have designed over the years. I love how whimsy and bright colors are incorporated in these hats- a bygone of an earlier era. I wish more people wore cool hats like this on a regular basis. Every time I wear a vintage hat, people think I’m over-dressed or something. I think hats are very distinguished and people ought to wear them without other people making them feel like they are out of place! Which brings me to the hideous baseball cap. Baseball caps are okay for boys, but ladies in baseball caps are like covering beautiful flowers with a newspaper. Ugggh. If I have to wear a casual hat for fear of a drop of sun landing on my skin, I prefer an old-timey newsboy cap. At least, it has some style to it. Am right or am I right?!

Anyway, love the woodwork hat the best and I had to post the photo of the ravishing pussy cat. That dazzling cat upstages everything in that photo.
