If Mary Poppins had a saucy side, this is what she would wear. Although John Galliano’s name is attached to this collection, Galliano didn’t design a single dress. Bill Gaytten, Galliano’s pattern-maker, took over the house in April and decided to go boring. It must suck when a collection bears your name that you had nothing to do with. Many fashion houses suffer from the same fate, including Martin Margiela and Thierry Mugler. But this must end. Here’s an open letter written by moi.
Dear, Mr. Galliano,
Please get your sh*t together and start designing something. We’re dying out here.
Your pal,
Roxy
