It was John Galliano’s debut couture collection for Maison Margiela and it was on point. There’s no denying Galliano’s touch is that of intricate, beautifully executed couture gold. This is exactly what the House of Margiela needs– exquisite craftsmanship to balance out the experimental fodder that has made them sort of a novelty previous to Galliano’s poignant reign. Having said that, I would wear each and every one of these masterpieces, including the onion bag dress! Welcome home, John Galliano!!
