One year ago today, Mr. Miggins joined our family and transformed our home from doom and gloom to a house full of joy and purrs. We adopted Miggins within days of Miss Darcheen’s passing and Mr. Marmar’s passing. It’s been a wonderful year for the rescued Persian… he escaped certain death at a kill-shelter, got groomed and got his fluffy coat back in time for winter, gained a family that showers him with snackums and belly rubs and became a husband to Mrs. Minky in a lavish Santa Barbara wedding. I’d say things are looking up for Mr. Miggs! He’s the Fresh Prince of Santa Barbara ! Miss Coco and Miss Mimi have both laid off the bitch slaps for a bit, so I think they are finally getting along. Anywho, my family got to celebrate with the delightful people at Helping Persian Cats with a fabulous lunch and cake a few weeks ago…. what a fine time and Mr. Miggins was once again reunited with his rescuers and foster parents. WE LOVE YOU, MIGGINS!!! To many more years to come…..
