Check out this cool exhibit called “Prêt-à-Papier: The Exquisite Art of Isabelle de Borchgrave” at the Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens in Washington! Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave crafted 18th century gowns and shoes entirely of paper! Dang!! Obviously, she doesn’t give an eff about paper cuts. Yes, I’m one of those people who screams like a ninny when they get a paper cut. Anywho, the detail is outstanding and could totally pass for fabric from far away. Ah-maze-ing.
