Who says you need to fix roads? Just send artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera to knit the holes away! They just need to set her up on the side of the street with a lawn chair and some knitting needles so she can get on each pothole as it comes along. Put her on the city payroll, because at least someone’s doing something about those potholes! You can see her art throughout Paris.
Here’s another good samaritan below. It’s artist Jan Vormann with the Dispatchwork project in Bocchignano, Italy. Jan uses Legos to fill in holes in the walls and streets of the village. Seriously, imagine if the world was filled with eye-treasures like these! Wouldn’t it be a more fun place? I would just steal those babies during the night, actually. Sorry, that’s the clepto in me coming out.
