It was Egypt meets Paris at Balmain this season…. the strong shoulders unique to Balmain coupled with geometric patterns and the mix of cutting edge fabrics with classic tweeds and denim made for a futuristic, modern take on the classic, polished Balmain silhouette. It was a one of Balmain’s best collections evoking polished, rock star meets galactic leisure lady who lunches. My fave out of the bunch are the mini dresses with the strong shoulders with spikes and tweed…. such a winning combination in my book! Watch out for the Balmain Army!
