Wowie Wow Wow! Van Herpen always brings on the futuristic, trippy fashion every season. This time she made things extra lucid and mesmerizing. In photos, it looks really dramatic… the fabrics trick your eye into seeing movement within the fabric. I have seen some of Van Herpen’s creations in person at The Met and various boutiques, which I can attest to that the construction and materials are truly unique and impressive. Using a medium that requires a 3D aspect while making it wearable, can be very difficult. Van Herpen has proved that that is, indeed, her specialty. Bravo, Iris!
